| Focus NTSE Correspondence course Program for National Talent Search Correspondence Attn: Students of Class VI, VII & VIII (2010 – 2011) If you pass NTSE conducted by State/Central Government, you may get scholarship up to your Post Graduate/PhD Focus NTSE Correspondence course Program conducted by SCIENCE PARK, a monthly magazine for Science ,Engg and Technopreneurship an ideal Program for students studying in class VI, VII & VIII, wish to face Global Competitive examination like Olympiad and domestic competitive examination like IIT/AIIMS/AIEEE etc. Science Park’s Correspondence course/online program helps the students in understanding the basic concepts of Science & Mathematics and to increase level of IQ and ability to visualize the Problem area & quick problem solving techniques. It gives strong foundation in Mental Ability and Scholastic Aptitude Test in the School time itself so that in future students can face tough competitive like IIT examination with more confidence What is NTSE? To identify and nurture the talented students in the school level itself and awarding them with scholarship till PhD level. In the initial level it was confined to the union territory of Delhi, wherein only 10 scholarships were awarded for the class XI students. Now the Central Government gives 1000 scholarships per year including reservation for SC/ST students. NTSE conducted by NCERT Government of India. Students, who are in Class VIII, can appear NTSE examination. Written Examination/Selection Process: There will be two stage selection processes for award of NTSE scholarship. Stage I examination will be done by Concerned State/UT through a written examination. Students must qualify stage I to appear for stage II examination conducted by NCERT. Students studying in abroad can appear directly to Stage II. Stage I test there will be Mental Aptitude Test , students has to answer 90 question in objective type ( Multiple choice question ) in 90 Minutes and Scholastic Aptitude Test there will be 90 questions and students has to answer within 90 minutes. In this SAT questions will be asked from Science / Mathematics / and Social Science. Pass Marks: 40 for General Students, 32 for SC/ST students. Science Park Correspondence/Online Program Feature of SCIENCE PARK’S Correspondence/Online Program Presently in Class VIII students: (2010-2011) Will take Stage I in November 2010 and Stage II in May 2011 Crash Course :2 months Course Fee: Rs.1100 (Rupees one Thousand and one hundred only) Study kit will be sent on receipt of full payment. • 5 Practice test for MAT Presently in Class VII students: (2010-2011) Will take Stage I in November 2011 and Stage II in May 2012 Duration of Course: 24 Months Course Fee: Rs.2500 (Rupees two thousands and five hundreds only)
